Welcome to the MN Spoken Word Association, a spoken word organization created to foster and support the spoken word community in Minnesota.  In celebration of MNSWA’s 10 year anniversary this year we are revitalizing some old programs and launching some new ones while re-scaling the number of projects and instead going deeper with programming and focus. While things may appear a bit quieter than usual, fun structural and community building work is being done as this time is extremely exciting!

Supporters are invited  to help MNSWA raise funds to support its launch of YOUTH AMPLIFIED youth leadership program and SAY WORD: Youth Slam League. Help us impact youth through spoken word poetry programming and the 2011 one of a kind – Spoken Word Institute. To give go to http://givemn.razoo.com/story/Mn-Spoken-Word-Association-Youth-Programs
